MusicSafe has been specially designed to protect musicians' ears while providing high quality sound. Unlike conventional hearing protection, the Alpine plugs are equipped with filters that reduce all audible frequencies as linearly as possible to achieve a good balance between high, medium and low frequencies in your ear at a lower sound level. With the MusicSafe Classic, you can easily and instantly modulate the protection levels. Two sets of filters are available, each offering different levels of sound reduction: the silver filters offer an average attenuation of 19.1dB and the gold filters offer an attenuation of 21dB, so musicians can adapt the sound attenuation to the surrounding volume
