Audiology technology, intelligent ergonomic design and superior 2.4 GHz digital transmission technology make the "sonumaxx-2.4" a convincing product - with powerful amplification, first-class stereo sound, convenient handling and versatility.
The "sonumaxx-2.4" is available with two different types of receivers: a) with a stethoscope receiver and b) with the compact pocket receiver. The latter offers a wide choice of listening components, including inductive listening for users with hearing aids or cochlear implants.
With an adjustable volume of up to 120 dB, the "sonumaxx-2.4" offers a balanced and clear sound, even in the highest amplification range. The 2.4 GHz digital transmission between transmitter and receiver is remarkably stable, secure and interference-proof.
All necessary connection cables for connecting the transmitter to an audio source - such as a TV or other sound system - are included, such as a TOSLINK optical cable.
The transmitter serves as a stand for the receiver, while charging the battery. A fully charged battery will last 6-8 hours, depending on the volume setting. Two batteries are included, so they can be used and recharged alternately.
A button on the front of the "sonumaxx-2.4" transmitter selects one of three sound profile presets, so that the user can choose the one that suits him best.
The housing of the stethoscope receiver and the pocket receiver and their controls are identical. A particularly convenient feature is the ability to switch the "sonumaxx-2.4" receiver from TV sound to conversation at the touch of a button. A built-in microphone will then pick up sounds from the environment and the sonumaxx-2.4 will amplify and deliver them to your ears.
The receiver of the "sonumaxx-2.4" with its stethoscope design is comfortable to wear, without causing any unpleasant pressure on the ears - thanks to the earphones with exchangeable tips and the highly flexible speaker arms
