The senior phone Doro 2414 has an SOS button on the back. It can be used to alert family and friends in the event of a problem. The assistance button must be held down for 3 seconds to trigger the alert. An assistance message (configurable in the settings) is sent to the emergency contacts and the first contact in the list is called. If the call is unsuccessful, the phone dials the next number, and so on until a contact answers.
Note: When an emergency call is made, the phone automatically switches to hands-free mode
